Does anybody know why there are different reverses on these coins?
1936 A Silver 5 Reichsmark

The one I have has a swastika.
When I search online I am finding some with it and some with a different eagle without the swastika. They both have the same mint mark.
Am I missing something?

Not at all. Germany changed the design of the 5 mark coin during 1936; the "eagle and swastika" is the newer one. Both versions are quite common, as the mintages for both are quite high (Hindenburg: 30 million, Hindenburg/Swastika: 8 million). Perhaps the Berlin Olympics were one reason why Germany needed extra coins in 1936.

Exactly. You get 1936A in both versions, the non-swastika (1935-36) and the one with the symbol (1936-39).

I find it hard to ad to that - some of the 'mit Hakenkruez' 1936 issues are modestly more valuable (G and J from memory), but the simple fact is 1936 was the year that a LOT of German coin designs changed (all except the Nickel 50Rpf and 1RM)...
You'll also find a number of years and mintmarks that were released in two designs:
1Rpf - 1936 A,E,F,G,J (In Weimarer and Third Reich designs)
2Rpf - 1936 A,D,F (In Weimarer and Third Reich designs)
5Rpf - 1936 A,D,G (In Weimarer and Third Reich designs)
10Rpf - 1936 A,E,G (In Weimarer and Third Reich designs)
50Rpf - 1938 E,G,J (In Weimarer and Third Reich designs)
1Rpf - 1940 A,F,G,J (In both Copper and Zinc)
Also things like a '1935' Aluminium 50Rpf (released in 1939/40) and some commemorative types such as the Luther (1933), Schiller (1934) and Potsdam mit Datum (1934) in 2RM and 5RM...

DLK20K - Youre quite right!! That must be a typo (I was cutting and pasting to make that list on the fly!)...
Now, not trying to get out of the error (because it is an error! :), but there were actually plans and design afoot for a Zinc 2Rpf in 1940/41 - just never came to fruition! :)
I'm editing the original post to remove the error... ;)
