coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 03/16/2021 9:38 pm Looks like like a tilted die strike. Note the thin areas on the outside of the rim? Those were fins. Now they are flattened, and the premium is gone not. With the fin raised and thin looking, it would be something someone would be interested in: The rolling of the coins into rolls, flatten this thin fin. Report this Post to the Staff
Yokozuna Pillar of the Community United States 4618 Posts	Posted 03/16/2021 10:44 pm It looks more like a MisAligned Die strike to me, also know as a MAD. The alignment on the obverse is normal but the reverse die looks as if it was shifted to the K:6 position. If it is a MAD, it was most likely a reverse die setup, with the reverse die being used as hammer die and the obverse as the anvil die.
