1984 Lincoln Cent Weighs 2.62 Grams

michaeltherrien New Member United States 3 Posts	Posted 04/18/2021 12:30 pm I generally weigh out any Lincoln Cent <1986. Since I frequently see 2.55 gram cents, anything over 2.56 grams gets my attention. Typically that equates to gunk any not generally over 2.6 grams. I have a beautiful 1984 P weighing in at 2.62 grams. Any thoughts? Report this Post to the Staff

halfamind Pillar of the Community United States 1510 Posts	Posted 04/18/2021 12:56 pm Pretty nice coin aside from the gash across Lincoln's face and above the date. 2.62 g is just barely outside of tolerance, so perhaps just rolled slightly thick? Report this Post to the Staff
