I thought this coin was very nice looking and under inspection while looking for full steps, I noticed the "B" looked odd... then went around the entire reverse of the coin and found additional examples.
I see some notching on letters but really may be trying too hard to find something cool..

Thank you in advance for taking a look.

I'm not seeing split serifs--this looks more like MD to me.

On most of the nickel DDR's the hub doubling is horizontal on the devices.

Also the doubling on these is not real strong, but there is spread on the bases of the devices.

As Coop said, most pre-single squeeze Jefferson nickel doubled dies are Class II doubling. This is just MD.

I almost typed word for word what Spence said.
I agree 100% but it is an attractive 66.

I want to thank you all for the welcomes (CoinFrog and Dearborn) and the replies. I suppose because the devices are not changed in shape and size no splitting (Thank you Spence)... I really appreciate all the detail in the answers from Coop and SamCoin.
Thank you Merclover and TNG - I was hoping to find some steps on this coin but no luck.

1966 is such an interesting year for the US Mint - No Proof sets / no mint Marks ..

yall have a great day
