Looks like pronounced grease effects on both sides. Most unusual.

Nice Struck Through Grease on both sides. 2x2 worthy.

I'm hard-pressed to assign a grade here.

MS65, but the grease and weak strike hurt eye appeal

It's actually a lot more interesting than most 1955-S cents!

That is pretty neat! I like these grease coins. It is really clean looking other then the grease.

Is that a die chip in the mint mark?

There is a small bump in the mint mark but it doesn't really look like a diet chip. It almost looks like a raised bump. I just like the toning of the coin personally but it doesn't actually have a lot of Knicks and it at all. I'm working on getting a better camera so I can post a lot clearer pictures

I like the toning too--even if the photo's saturation is bumped up a bit. I'd hang onto it, not concerned about eye appeal.

Very cool coin! Definitely Struck Through Grease, likely a very hard chunk of something on the obverse die to make that impression in the head.
