I've put some of these shield initials aside for a couple reasons.
Main reason is so hard to get the lighting right on these bright shields.
So I figured in the past I'll try a little later etc.
Here's my first attempt to see if it's a DDR.

A lot of Denver cents I've seen have these thicker, mushy letters on the reverse. I don't believe these are doubled dies.

Probably images of the EPU would be showing the Machine Doubling, but I would like to see these. It could be a doubled die, with Machine Doubling:

I'm with the others, as far as not being a DDR but not sure of the cause. There would appear to be heavy flow lines though, maybe just a deteriorated die.

I've noticed the mushy letters on the reverse but this one looked a little different. The EPU looks normal to me. Thanks everyone.
