Hey Everyone! I have this no date SLQ that looks like it has a small die crack to the right of where the date would be. So far I've been unsuccessful in finding an example with a date and a matching die crack.
Does anyone know of a resource for helping to match SLQs based on die cracks? I've tried looking at Cuds on Coins and also using Google Image searches. I'd really love to figure out the date of the coin.
Based on the condition of the coin and total lack of a date I'm guessing this is pre-1925. It also has 3 stars on the reverse so it is type 2. That leaves the following 5 possibilities:
Whoops I just realized after posting this should probably be located in "US Classic and Colonial Variety and Error Coins". I don't think I have the ability to change it after posting. A little help mods?
I am not well versed in this series enough to determine diagnostics for specific dates, but I am curious who can. I'll keep an eye on this topic...
