Does this penny appear to have any of the desirable errors? DD ear ? Mint mark? And it really looks like a light strike through to the reverse.

From what I can tell, the dies for obverse and reverse, were just worn out. Nothing special that I can see.

@bor, looks to me like you have a nice example of ghosting on the reverse. An interesting find, but doesn't add to the numismatic value.

Die wear is just die events. Not a collectable mint error. Why is this not a premium? All the coins struck with those dies (Which could be upto 54%) would have these marks. Making these a common event to see on a coin. A die error is usually a one time event. Not a common thing to find.
