I found this coin to be interesting. It looks to be FS-502 Medium S mintmark. The S is so weak you can barely see it with the naked eye. I guess what is going on around the mintmark could be grease? On the obverse I have no clue what all that could be, I found the pattern of it resembled a post office stamp. Whatever it is I like it, as long as it is not scratches . Coming out of the eye seems to be a gouge?

Thanks for all opinions!

The MM and the bottom part of the wreath could be the result of a Grease Filled Die.
Interesting marks on the obverse profile - is it possible that this coin went through the postal system and it got canceled when the stamp did?
