Hi everyone! I'm new to collecting, only been doing it for a few months now so I'm turning to you all for your educated and experienced help. I have lots of wheat pennies and questions I'd like to post. Thanks for all your help in advance#128516;
What do you think about this? Is it doubling on the 4? And look at the "E" in Liberty... What is that?

Just damage from another coin in circulation. If it were a die creation issue, then all the devices would be showing the same events on the obverse side of the die. Damage affects just one area on the coin. It been working for a log time out in circulation. Basically like the door dings you see on a car from parking lot damage, that is what you are seeing on your coin. Just a Wheat cent now.

Post-strike (circulation) damage, yes.

The bottom of the E in LIBERTY is neat but I agree with everyone else about this being a hit from circulation.
