Errers and Varietys Bedrock of the Community United States 75510 Posts	Posted 07/10/2023 7:50 pm It's a Split Planchet. Also, for future references, only hold the coin by the edge or wear gloves. The oil from our fingers will leave fingerprints. And I second what Errers said about getting it in 100% pure acetone (the stuff from the hardware store, NOT nail polish remover) right away. And as he said, don't hold coins anywhere but by the edge.
