There appears to be a Cud under the 2nd A in America?

to the CCF Not a Cud. A Cud involves the rim. This might be a die chip. These "new" quarters have a lot of small die chips. I joke that is harder to find one without chips. No added value.

to the CCF!

It's a bit hard to tell exactly what this is from these images. If you can, please post correctly oriented full images of both sides of the coin and a sharp closeup of the anomaly.

While it may be a die chip or die gouge, as noted, it isn't a Cud. A Cud would involve a die break at the rim of one of the dies. The break in the die allows metal to flow into the missing area, leaving a raised area on the coins that are struck. If the Cud is large enough, it will leave a weak area of detail on the opposite side from the Cud.
