Good morning CCF!

I noticed an odd blob on Washington's earlobe when thumbing through a roll. when scoping it, it almost looked as though someone drove a pin or something through the reverse. inspecting the reverse, I'm not seeing any entry points. I'm leaning towards a chip but I would very much value another opinion!

Looks like a well placed die chip.
Can't think of anything else that would cause it.
