It's a small date, agree with others, it looks to be AU but appears to have been cleaned. I don't like the look of the fields.

Hi AU low MS coin. its so nicked up the coin has no real collector value. my bet is someone pulled a bunch of these from circulation in the 70's and just rolled up all the ones that looked shiny.

i retract my statement as a spender. the small date variety will have some value here. I'm not sure what the markers are for the fs-1401a varity
