A year ago I was able to purchase a raw, Salzburg, 1100 years of the Bishopric State Commemorative Taler. I sent it into NGC and it came back AU-58. Great toning and one of the nicest Taler designs I have seen.
I ran across this remarkable PCGS MS-63 piece and could not resist purchasing. The pictures do not show the magnitude of this coins beauty. Phenomenal design and coin which I never thought I would have access to.
My dilemma is whether to keep the two or part with the AU-58. Will see.
If I were you I wouldn't sell the other coin outright, but I would consider a trade I found someone with another tempting specimen. And I probably wouldn't mind if none were forthcoming. But I guess one has to consider economy as well...as I know only too well...
