Hello everyone,

I wonder if this coin can get a straight grade. Thank you.

Hi John1,

Thank you for your comment. I just added a better obverse photo. Unfortunately this is the best my phone can do. I hope this help. Thank you.

From the images provided, my eye sees a coin that has been cleaned in its past. I can't tell whether it was a harsh cleaning or not - the resolution of the images is not high enough for me to get a good sense of the coin's surfaces - but a "Details" grade would be likely if the cleaning disturbed the surfaces. I would suggest closely examing the coin with a coin magnifier to determine surface quality.

In any case, the coin does not appear to be a high grade example that would justify the cost of professional grading.

Just my opinion, of course - all based on the images provided.

Impossible to judge the surfaces based on these photos, but I'm leaning towards cleaned.

;

As stated, Pictures are Not clear, Pretty good for a Phone........

I do see Necrotic remnants on the Obverse or residue(s) of what appears to of been a Cleaning of This coin, Along with the Original Luster Too.....

I Also agree, Not a High Grade Candidate..... From the apparent " Wear seen on the Reeds ", I would Venture NOT an Uncirculated Coin Too. Maybe In- Hand appears different!!!!

Thanks for Sharing, Just My Opinion....MD

Thank you everyone for your comments. I still see some lusters (cartwheel) on this coin. Is it possible for a cleaned coin to have cartwheel effect?

Btw, here are some extra pictures of the obverse under the microscope. Thank you very much.
