http://www.coinworld.com/news/us-co...-medals.htmlThe Philadelphia Mint will be striking two medals — one to be offered as a single Proof medal sometime in June, and the second as a Reverse Proof medal in a four-medal set also to contain medals struck at the San Francisco, West Point, and Denver Mints. The three other medals available only in set are a 2017-S medal that also has a standard Proof finish, a 2017-W medal exhibiting an Enhanced Uncirculated finish, and a 2017-D medal with an Uncirculated finish. *** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. ***

So will they all have a double profile etc. like the one pictured in this article does?

I certainly hope not. I want them to be correct.

Let's wait and see if they put any HH limits on these before we start making silly assumptions like "I'm going to get one of each".

 - I hope to be able to get one as I like the design itself.

After the whole issue with the congrats sets, I think that would be wise. I think I will skip the individual medal, but might go for the 4 coin set if the price is right...

Wasn't mintage only like 12,000 each on these last year? Will the low mintage trend continue?

Mintage was 12,500 for each mint (S and W).
BTW, this thread should probably be in the U.S. Commem/NCLT section. Or maybe? Where does discussion about U.S. medals belong since they are not coins nor are they commems/NCLT?

Interesting development. Looks like I now want/need to get five of them.

If they are already hyping it now it will be a mint to demand issue trying to capitalize on the quick sellout last year.

The US Mint updated their schedule just now - we are being treated to a 1 oz silver medal on Jun14: https://catalog.usmint.gov/225th-an...uct-scheduleLet's wait & see if all will be released at the same time, or one after the other - not to mention mintage figures...

I'm curious to see which Mint facility strikes the just-announced standalone medal. Original reports had it being struck at Philadelphia, but the current Mint web site page for the piece shows it as a West Point issue.
Time will tell!
(I'm a buyer regardless!)
