It has been a while since I have been able to get any Lincoln cents from any bank in my area so I thought I would try again. No luck. But they did tell me they only are letting their business customers get cents. My neighbor runs a furniture store in our small town. Think I will hit him up and see if he will get me a box.  |

My credit union has not been a great source of coins, even under normal circumstances. I haven't thought to ask them for cents since the termination. Maybe I will, just for fun and curiosity.
I've been hoarding them since 1982, but I don't have a lot of zinc cents.
If I get lucky at the CU, I'll update.

I have had success in exchanging my rerolled, searched Zincolns for other rolls, either machine or customer wrapped. However because banks here are giving out very few cents rolls, I generally have to visit a different branch each time or I'd get my old rerolls. Not the worst problem to have but certainly inefficient.

I was transacting some business at one of my favorite branches a few days ago and they were quite open about wanting customers to bring in any excess cents they may have to help the branch meet its needs. Several weeks ago another branch had a few sealed boxes of cents they were quite willing to sell.
Fun times...

My local bank currently has a limit of 2 rolls($1.00) per customer.

My bank has stopped selling boxes of pennies. Fortunately, I am still able to exchange pennies, box for box.
Guess until they stop doing exchanges, I'll try and CRH as many rolls as possible!
