Beautiful coin with near pristine fields. Lightly struck or a slight Greaser on the reverse at E PLU and the O of ONE.

An unfortunate bag hit at the high point of Lincoln cheek is directly on a prominent focal point and holds this otherwise lovely cent back IMO from a lofty grade.

I'll go MS65RD

Very nice! Above observations plus minor obverse rim dings (above GOD) and light chatter on coat shoulder and lower lapel. Makes MS65.

With all the marks on the coat, I'd be at MS-64RD.

I would also say MS64 Red - very nice-looking '57D.

tough coin to grade. the reason is that some of that chatter on the lapel is due to die deteriation. you see this a lot on some these LWC's with high mintage counts. I dont think all we are seeing there can be attributed to that, along with all the marks and ticks on the lapel and obv. rim as well as around the O in ONE and some disturbance above the N on CENTS I'm at MS64+

Technically MS66, but market would probably go MS65. The chatter on the coat is from the planchet, not post-strike. Similar chatter can be seen on the "O", which is opposite the coat so suffers from the same fate due to a weak strike.

I hate to disagree, but I believe they are more like contact marks. Notice only the high points carry these hits...

Edit:
Now that I looked at the Reverse side of this coin, you are correct: damage to the same location of this planchet (Obverse 7 O'clock and Reverse 11 O'clock). Sorry!

Excellent job folks! Good estimates and I agree! The coin has blazing luster and smooth fields. RPMS nailed the strike issues. I'll say this, it looks better in hand.
