Two parts to this post. If you don't bother with Oak Island, skip part 2. Ha, if you don't bother with tokens, skip part 1.

1) Here are 2 of my Nova Scotia tokens, 27A1 and A3. Would VF-20 and VF-30 be about right ?

2) I've procrastinated for 5 months, and had to post it somewhere, Sorry. The menorah taken by the Romans from Jerusalem WAS on Oak Island at one time. A map that was shown on one of the shows, back just before the end of 2025, has a drawing of it on a page (google FLX157) from an old book, I believe it was from the 1600's
Look at the dark, bold drawing that is lying to the left of, and touching the "stone vault". A candelabra, with flames.

I tried to post about it on an Oak Island site at New Year's, but it never showed up ?
In April or May, I sent this find and other info to 2 members of the team, a doctor and a researcher, but heard nothing. So if it comes up in the future, you heard it here first.

p.s. what they keep calling the December Triangle is really Triangle of Deus (trinity of Father, Son, Holy Ghost), the spot where Templars claimed land in the name of the pope, and prayed.

I personally think that the Oak Island reality show is a farce. I've seen a few minutes of a couple and everything that they dig up there has been deposited by a member of the TV crew. I have no idea how the show has lasted as long as it has. Anyway Terry, nice tokens.

Ok, I'll confess.

I've been a watcher of the show since day one. Probably more so because I'm a searcher, intrigued by the mystery and am a searcher also (just don't have the millions to spend digging).

Lately though losing interest as nothing of great substance has been found.

I believe the show is selling a mystery and entertainment surrounding that. That said, even the small drill (rotosonic drilling) is darned expensive - I have used that with some of my field research programs. They are heavily invested in using some expensive equipment.

I watch it, because Ian Spooner (Acadia University) is a research peer and a friend. I imagine a lot of folks here know the "professional numismatist" on the show (Sandy Campbell).

I never knew that Sandy Campbell was affiliated in any way with the show, but I'll still never watch it, even with the "Oh, look what I found" ads.

It is and always has been. Research the history of the island since looooooong before the TV show.
The most plausible allegation is: the site gets salted with artifacts by parties who have a vested interest in 'keeping the dream alive', ala a very typical treasure hunting scam, and the believers just keep on believing. There is no reasoning with naive.

I just read a 2019 book that mentioned fake hunts for treasure, whether black beard, Vikings, or Oak Island in a sentence.

Back in 2008 I had the opportunity to be involved in the first filming of the series Licensed to Drill on the Discovery Channel, The editors and producers were telling me they get paid $500,000 per episode. Olk Island would be the same so they have the funding per show, thats why they drag it on. I quit watching it a few years ago because I find it with no drama.
