Agree--not die cracks, but post strike damage of an intentional nature.

This is PMD and I cringe at this type of damage along with the counter stamp type of damage. |

To CCF! These are scratches, not Die Cracks. A Die Crack would be raised, not Incused. PMD. Errers and Varietys.

When I see damage like this, my eyes slowly go down to the date while I'm thinking "Please don't be a key-date, please don't be a key date". So, if there is a silver lining, the damage nulled the value of a common date, rather than a key date.

Severe damage from graffiti. Fortunately, the perpetrator only destroyed the value of a coin worth no more than a dollar.
