On my trip to Asheville, NC for Christmas I found a really nice coin store and picked these two pieces up. I paid $25 for the Confederate Note. Think I did good?

The Confederate $20 is in excellent shape for its age.

I'll bet you paid a little more than that for the $20 coin!

Nice! There is a coin and currency auction coming up in a small town here in eastern NC on Jan 14th, I can hardly wait. They have some Confederate notes as well as some fractional currency and a few Morgans. The last one of these I went to only had four registered bidders and the wife and I racked up.

I live in Upstate SC, so I could be interested as well. I am always up for a road trip if it brings me closer to the coast.
