Pretty neat looking anomaly!
Not sure if it might be considered slide doubling, or, something totally different.
I don't think it's Die Deterioration, because the rest of the quarter's devices look too sharp.
IGWT is the only spot affected, though.
Thoughts?
Thank You

This is an odd one - never seen crenelated slide doubling before - I think that there is a bit of DDD there though.

Thank You, Dearborn and E&V

The IGWT was so much different than any other spot, that I thought it might be something else.

Interestingly, I just found another coin with the same basic anomalies (but not as dramatic) in the same box.
Perhaps a different die stage?
However: The second coin seems to be a different die.
Now I'm even more curious!
Whether it is just a Die Deterioration issue or not, perhaps the IGWT is a working hub issue?

I see die flow lines and PIDT, indicative of worn out dies.

Thank You, jbuck and Tunnioc

I forgot to add these pics earlier - which are the main reason I had wondered if something else was going on. They just look like they have so much less Die Deterioration, that I wondered if that was possible.
But at this point I'm probably
Guess I sometimes try to look at things a little too hard!
But if Wexler can have a UFO variety (Unidentified Fascinating Oddity), then I will designate this as IDD (Interesting Die Deterioration)
