I got an offer for this dime in ebay for $28.17. Is this a good deal for a slabbed dime? I'm interested because of the reverse, the Bluenose schooner.

It seems the seller is selling this coin for $33 with $5 shipping $38.
They offered it to you at $28 plus shipping, $33 total.
Let's say he's shipping it to you for free, and it's a first-year-issue slab coin.
IMHO, I would say yes if you're really interested; buy it!
Please note: It's a $3 coin without the holder.

So far I am considering buying it.
I have a thing about the Bluenose schooner on the reverse so I'm looking for Bluenose items.
I'm putting a small collection together with the Bluenose and so far I have a painting on my wall, a stamp and a souvenir stamp from a stamp show.
Are there any banknotes with the Bluenose on it? Or maybe some other coins?

The 2021 bluenose 100th anniversary colorized circulation coin might interest you. Unslabbed examples start at less than $2.

The Bluenose or Bluenose design has been on the Reverse of the Canada dime since 1937, so there is no shortage of Bluenose coins. If you like plastic Encased Coins to start your collection, then go ahead and buy it. Just remember that they ebay prices are in US dollars. With a about a 1.40 exchange rate, $30 US is $42 Canadian and you will not be getting the exact same coin, based on the description of the item in the listing.
