Possibility of a counterfeit 1966 dollar coin. What do you think of this one? Noticed it in an online auction.
Edited the post to show the fake and a real coin for comparison.

Definitely a counterfeit. Took two seconds to identify it.
Did you do a side by side comparison with a genuine dollar?
In the future, please post pictures of both sides of the coin.

The missing EH below the rear of the canoe is a common feature of Chinese counterfeits.
The date, waterlines, and aurora are also wrong but don't jump out like the missing EH.
Can you provide obverse pic please?
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...
