Got this one recently. Is it a kind of penny involve with a cap strike (don't remember exactly the name "last stage...").

The weight is 1,23 gr. The reverse as a kind off wavy face, not flat.

Canada never minted cents that light - the lightest bronze one was 2.50 g. So either this is a split planchet or a damaged coin.

Think the terminology you looking for is "struck through a late stage die cap."
If this was the case, there would be no loss of weight.

Thickness : 1 mm

Depending the angle, we can see the queen ligne on the reverse.
