Sorry if this has been brought up already but I couldn't find the topic.

I'm sure people still have plenty of penny rolls, but what will be the next big thing to search for? Nickels? With penny rolls now selling for 3x their value (plus shipping!), will looking for nickel or quarter varieties become the new cent?

What are your thoughts?

Coin collectors will probably turn to Nickels and other denominations, since the Cent was discontinued for circulation use last year. If the Nickels are discontinued, we'll probably be turning to Dimes and Quarters, etc.

I also think most will start out with nickels. Give a short foray into dimes. Then just mix things up and buy different boxes as they are available. Focusing mostly on the vast variety of doubling with quarters

(That reminds me - it's been a couple weeks since I made a penny run on my banks! I'm waiting for 4x face on my hoard of pennies! )
