Guys is there different varieties of the obverse 1983 D penny? I looked at PCGS site and noticed that there seems to be but I am not able to find and info regarding this. Thoughts?

Looks like Die Deterioration to me.

Guys there may be some deterioration, but there is definitely a difference in the sizing. Please look at the 2 pics taken from PCGS. Thanks.

There's a difference in size, but it's not from a Doubled Die. It's from Die Deterioration. If you want to learn more about Die Deterioration, click on the highlighted blue link.

There also appears to be a light " Ridge Ring" running through the tops of "WE TRUST", which lines up with the thickness we are seeing.
This is another indicator of Die Deterioration.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.
