Just underneath the nose, there is raised metal (see close up). Very uniform in shape. It is silver in color, like the coin itself. Maybe a break in the die? Thoughts?

I really cannot see it being FFD though, I mean not if there a re many of these showing up and are all identical.

If it's raised then it's a gouge in the die so yeah, keep your eyes open to see if anyone can find more of these....
