if I never mentioned it, I am a groundsman (groundskeeper) at a hotel. the property is large. I do 6x to 10x the walking I used to do, so my feets are taking a pounding. I am pretty tired by the time 3:30pm rolls around. I have had to learn to pace myself. the job is going well, boss is happy with me, and I was told today that I am getting a lot of compliments for the job I'm doing. let's hope this leads to a nice raise at some point.

today I picked a pair of dimes there. it is only a matter of time before I start finding other (bigger) monies. I'm not counting on it, but I'm always and am bound to find something that someone dropped sooner or later. maybe that elusive pouch of benjamins will finally manifest...

there is certainly a lot of eye candy; the hotel has 4 swimming pools.

yep. I've been handing out my business cards as I can think to do so... one card for painting, landscaping, odd jobs, etc., and another for cats, coins, precious metals, etc., to locals & visitors alike.

i guess I failed to mention that I picked $1.22 last night... the usual well-scattered change... tonight I picked $1.34 on the strength of a tidy handful of coins from one of the two water machines' coin return at publix-- ninety-five cents:

Post-Your-Stories-&-Pix-Of-Found-Money

always check coin returns on machines. it's just like checking the reject tray at a coinstar.

and I found a quarter at the hotel earlier in the day tuesday, so $1.59 in total for tuesday.
