Bacchus2 Pillar of the Community United Kingdom 2943 Posts	Posted 10/24/2026 04:41 am Hi, I got this coin as a freebee along with another coin purchase and while I know it's a Tealby penny it's not a series I am familiar with. The condition makes additional ID challenging to say the least but apparently this particular coin series is notorious for it's poor quality. There "might" be enough there to narrow it slightly more - I had thought Class D - but am not sure. I don't think there is enough on the reverse to narrow a mint or moneyer down unfortunately. Sap Moderator Australia 17035 Posts	Posted Today 4H 16M ago Tealby coins are a pain to identify properly even for the best-preserved examples, due to their crudeness of strike, but this one is quite badly scuffed up post-strike. I'm afraid I can't offer any constructive opinion, other than "yep, it's a Tealby", and "I think the first letter in the moneyer's name might be 'A'?" If so, then maybe Aimer of London?
