Thanks Dearborn and Errers. I don't envy doing that many photos at once Dearborn and trying to keep them all situated.

Quote: I don't envy doing that many photos at once Dearborn and trying to keep them all situated. I have a system that works for me. I only do 5 dates (5 coins each of the P/D) at a time and get both sides - then to the Dansco album, then I work the images (crop rotate if needed and resize) a day My labeling scheme is quite simple, such as: 2006-P JN CuNi BU (obverse side) 2006-P JN CuNi BU1 (reverse side) I always use a 1 at the end of the file so I know it is the reverse, if there are errors and I take additional images, the last number grows (2, 3, 4, ect) This keeps all the files together in the directory tree the 'JN' = Jefferson nickelIf it were a Buffalo nickel the letters would be 'BN' a modern dime would be "RD" ( Roosevelt dime) So at a glance I know that the image is without opening it or having the thumb nails open.

Yeah, small batches are easier to do, at least for processing. I spent the whole day Sunday taking all the photos for the coins I have been sharing this week because I had the house to myself.

Well, that was a super nice 11 pages to scroll through. How about an update? Seamonkey Maybe a photo of any completed pages?
Are you planning on the years with different reverses? Like the 39's (P, D, and S) with reverse of 1938 or 40.

I have 5 more coming which leaves only two left. I'll still need the 39-D and the 41-S, just gotta find ones for a decent price. I hadn't planned on doing both reverse types for the 39's but I may eventually. Right now just trying to fill holes with what Dansco has in the album. My 39S is supposed to be reverse of 38. I'd have to verify it as well as which one my 39 is.

No need to be jealous Humanist, yours is way more complete than mine. You have a bunch more proofs than I do and I still need all the business strikes from 2012-2021 as I get the mint sets for them. Proofs I need most from 1994-2021 and since I buy them as a set it will be quite awhile before I accomplish that.
