I've had quite the email exchange with this seller over his "NGSC" coins. He's been to a few coin shows, doesn't have much knowledge of coins at all, and thinks he has the expertise to grade coins.

I suggested he take all those "NGSC" coins to an experienced dealer, or send them in to a reputable grading service, and I mentioned ANACS, PCGS, and NGC to him, and see what they actually will grade for. I gave him the link to numismedia.com, and also recommended Yeoman's Red Book to him to get an idea of fair market price for his coins.

I told him I hope he has genuine coins issued by the US mint, and wished him luck, but also cautioned him that he would kick himself in the rearend if he sold a genuine 1884-S Morgan MS-68, numismedia.com valued one for $937,500.00, for a mere $2300.00.

Hopefully he takes my advice.
