I tried to do some research but couldnt find and answer. I have 2 bicentennial half dollars with the independance hall on the front but when I turn it around the obverse is upside down.

The same is with the 2 1977 dollars I got in the same purchase.
I am from Canada and am not familiar with American coins they were in a lot I purchased from auction.

Is the upside down obverse normal?

Yes, this is normal. The obverse and reverse are inverted on US coins.

No need to close it. There are any people that may need this kind of information. They read it and move on, never posting a comment.
