Hey all!

So while shopping today, I looked over a 1912 S Gold Indian Half. There was a raised chunk between the lower serif and the middle curve, which seemed suspicious. I need one for my gold type.

Anyway, I was wondering if RPMs exist on the old gold in general and if they command a premium. I know nothing about varieties when it comes to gold. If anyone has any knowledge on this line of gold, I would be happy to read it!

Thanks!

There is a possiblity of an RPM, but I don't see this date listed in the CPG. I also checked the coneca website and they don't show any gold.

Can you get us a micro image of the mint mark?

Did you check the coin to make sure it was genuine?

I can't get a pic of the mint mark, it is at a coin shop a couple hours away. Yeah, the coin was genuine.

The coin probably doesn't have extra value, but you never know! Good luck should you decide to get it.
