I didn't see this one posted anywhere else, so I had to share.

I'm not sure what kind of ERROR the seller thinks he has, but I don't see $3500. Do you?

Seller lists the "DIE DEFECTS AND DIE VARIETYS". But the pictures are not clear enough to make any of them out.
A big red flag "NO RETURNS!"

It looks to me like a parking lot find with a few jabs from an icepick, but I've been wrong before.

Is this guy serious? It looks like it's been lying in the road getting run over for a while, then hit with an icepick a couple of times. $3500? Unbelievable!

Auctions like this make E-bay a fun place to get a good laugh. It also shows the value of having a numismatic education. I am sure that this person is wondering why the coin has not had any bids.

My favorite quote: I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL, BUT I HAVE MY OWN PERSONAL COLLECTION

But then goes on to describe (incorrectly because I think a vice and ice pick were involved) lamination, misaligned dies, mint mark over mint mark as well as knowledge of the correct diameter

OH! I get it! S/He is not a professional writer!

I was looking at their feedback and saw they bought a couple used high end purses (Gucci & LV) for $350-$450 a piece. Maybe they really need the money from this "error coin".

The coin's real claim to fame--it was an extra in the movie "Goodfellas"

He also has a 1928-S Peace dollar for sale with a starting bid of $455...I would say it's worth about $34 in it's condition on a good day
