Was wondering if anyone knows where these Asian coins come from? - I'm guessing they came from the same place but not sure.

The two tokens I have just found in the bottom of a drawer, one is pretty obvious but no idea what the other one is.

The top three are 10, 50 and 1 yen from Japan - quite recent - I think these are still legal tender.

The tokens look European - The one point probably British - I see them in junk boxes all the time

Japan 10 Yen Showa 59 (1984), 50 Yen Showa 49 (1974), Japan 1 Yen Showa 49 (1974)- Current coins of the last emperor. Telephone token is Italian, issued September, 1975.The other token is unknown to me.

The first coin is actually dated Showa 57 (1982).

Thanks for all the info. I've had these and a number of other coins from far flung places since I was a kid.

I had an uncle in the merchant navy between the 50s and early 80s and I'm guessing it was his pocket change that found its way to me.
