Last night my daughter asked me for some coins that were not Australian to take into school (she is 7). I grab the box of foreign coins that I have been collecting during my travels. Basically I used to chuck my change from whatever country I had been in and cash the notes at the bank. Looking through the several hundred coins I see some Australian ones (I was living in Scotland at the time). First one out. Fecking wavy 2! Got it confirmed by a shop today. I have been spending hours noodling in my lounge trying to find one of these when there has been one in my bedroom cupboard all of the time. Needless to say I am little bit surprised and more than a little bit happy! javascript:insertsmilie('')

oh the travel bit : I took it all the way from Sydney to london to edinburgh (moved house three times), to sydney to tasmania (where I also moved house four times).

Anybody else been this lucky?
