Hello there, I am looking for any reference material about this subject as I wish to compile it for a freee pdf release, any help would be much appreciated.

There are five pages of examples of the type on zeno.ru. It might pay to check through the comments on them for information.
I've found Grifterrec to often have excellent information on mediaeval central Asian coins, especially Sassanian coins, but there are only a few examples of these coins in the Indian section.
For books, the go-to volume for this series is still Mitchener's "Oriental Coins and their Values - Non-Islamic States and Western Colonies, AD 600 - 1979".

Thanks Sap, I have already exaused these online resources, which is not much but appreciated. Mitchiner I found one for a thousand pounds which is too much, but there is another book I will get for 18 pounds which is reasonable.
