It would seem that I have started to collect Tetricus I reverses without even trying. I have added three in the past couple of months and I just received one yesterday that is my absolute best. I now have the following reverses:

SPES PVBLICA
VICTORIA AVG
HILARITAS AVGG
LAETITIA AVG N
VIRTVS AVGG

This last one has the best portrait and even though the image doesn't show it, it has a beautiful chocolate patina.

Nicely struck coin!
Until recently, I did not think Roman coins portrayed lighter subjects like Hilaritas.

That's definitely a nice coin and a decent flan. I thought Virtus looked like a wizard at first.

Hey JW, since you are collecting Tetricus I coins, I was wondering if you could help me out with my Tetricus. I am unsure if it's LAETITIA AVG N or LAETITIA AVGG N. I am leaning towards AVGG N only because there is too much of a gap between the G and the N to be AVG N. And in some angles of the light I believe I see a bit of a G in that gap.

ValiantKnight- I think that I see a bit of a "G" in the gap as well. So I think that you are right.

I think that may be a G in that gap, although one has to use a little imagination. Here is my LAETITIA AVG N. You can see there isn't much of a gap between the G and the N, so I am thinking yours would have the place for the second G.
