On a different note, I won't be around on Sunday to harass you all seeing how I will be inebriated watching the Bills at the hopefully blistery Ralph Wilson Stadium. The only thing great about having a team that sucks and misses the playoffs each year is getting to go to the last games of the year for 20 bucks. This game I am going to was from my friends work, but I have gone to at least the last 3 games of the season each year by buying tickets from scalpers about 30 minutes before kick off. Cant beat that price, and some of the games have been great.
Story time:
TITLE: My favorite game ever attended
So ever since I was a kid watching and rooting for my beloved Bills I have been jealous of the people on TV with no shirts on when it is blizzarding out and the Bills are putting a hurtin on some southern based team. Anyways my father always told me that it sucked, it was cold, the bills suck and blah blah blah. He lost his faith with the 4 superbowl let downs. Sooooooo I end up getting tickets from my girlfriend to the Bills VS Colts game January 3, 2010 for my birthday which is the 12th.
We end up going in and sitting in the lower bowl arounf the 30 yard line with a bunch of people I know because the stadium was of course half empty (or was it half full, hard to tell)
Well to sum it up, Fred jackson went over 1000 yards that game which is a huge feat if you dont know his story of being an undrafted D3 player who worked his way up from NFL Europe and such we all started chanting FREDDIE FREDDIE FREDDIE , we actually won by a lot 30-7 AND it snowed really hard for some period of time! My dreams came true haha. My favorite point in the game and maybe my life happened when T.O. scored a long TD, we did the Bills shout song, and my friends and my dance for said song and then I stopped looked to the sky opened my arms and tears of joy ran down and froze to my face. BEST GIFT EVER and best Girlfriend as well, we've been living together for 3 years...she is the one!
