Wow => nice pics, googoo ... It definitely looks like you Dudes were headed for a good time (and the Bills kicked Tebow => that must have been a good time!) Man, I "almost" feel like jumping on-board the Goo-wagon => but Canada needs me to man-up, dig-deep, and get this overwith ... Merry Christmas Goo-Dawg => but I'm hoping for a nasty smash-mouth Boxing Day Slobber-Knocker! ... awesome pics! EDIT (Boxing Day) => ooops, I re-read your post and then realized that it wasn't the Bronco game, so no Tebow (actually, the Dolphins beat the Bills in the game that you guys saw ... but looks like you still had a good time)

I feel some poetic justice has been served in fantasy football today. In my 3rd league I got into this year (I was kind of guilted into taking the last team right before the season by a friend) I drafted and felt I drafted the best team, I made several good free agent pick ups along the way (Victor Cruz, Jabar Gaffney) however this league didn't go as it was supposed in my eyes, the first week of the regular season I lost on one play on Monday night when Wes Welker caught a 99 yard td well after the game had been decided, a few weeks later I lost to the Kansas City Chiefs defense when they posted a shut out against the Raiders and scored 2 defensive TD's, then a few weeks later I lost to my buddy when his WR's (Greg Jennings and Mike Wallace) each score TD's over 50 yards so they got bonuses while my team had more total yards and total TD's than his team. I watched several husband/wife or gf combo's make very shady trades to make one team great because the other team was cooked. Through it all I had the most points scored in the league, yet with 2 weeks to go I was on the outside looking in for the playoffs. Heading into the Monday night game that week my team was down 142 - 70 with three players left. I knew that if I lost that game that my playoff chances were up in smoke. Well that night Drew Brees, Jimmy Graham, and Victor Cruz went off, not only did they make up the 72 points I was down, they actually outscored his entire team 151 - 142, the bonus point system finally worked for me. The next few weeks actually flew by as my team continued to rack up the points and fly through the final regular season game, and the first two rounds of the playoffs. Now in Championship week, and I had alot of tough decisions.(I benched Vincent Jackson for Kahlil Bell) I was down 23 points heading into Monday night but here we are late in the 3rd quarter and I am up 15 points and still increasing my lead. I find it funny that I lost on the first week of the season to a 99 yard td pass, and here in the finals I am going to win because of a 99 yard td pass.
I wanted to tell little fantasy football story to someone, because my wife really doesn't care, my buddy that got me to join the league doesn't really have any clue about fantasy football (although he thinks he does), and alot of my other friends have their own leagues they are more involved in and when you talk fantasy football with them it is more "water cooler" talk than anything. However in the last 12 weeks I feel like I have bonded with you all and gained 12 new fantasy football friends that would appreciate my story alittle more than most. I want to thank you all for a great fantasy football season (I know there is one week left) and I hope this is the first of many season to come for the CCF Fantasy Football League.

Yes, congrats rkrj ... you have been an excellent promoter! I definitely look forward to a rematch in 2012 =>geeessh, Drew Brees would have been a good pick tonight! Congrats googoo! ... I'm pretty sure that the difference ended-up being about 8 points! (well done)

I was losing my mind watching the game at my brother in laws with some really great company. I have been having a blast here with you all, and with the recent incident that happened with my girlfriend's grandmother (she fell down the stairs and broke her leg) I have really been using sports to get through the nights coming home from work around 4 until I pass out at night. Football, hockey and coins has been giving me something to do. One more week left. Lots at stake for next week....gotta look through and get my roster ready

Even though I am in the running for "best team spirit" (AKA last place) I had a lot of fun with this!

Sorry the update is late, between work and a nasty headcold I just came home and pretty much slept last night, I have bowling in about 15 minutes so I will update it tonight when I get home (if I didn't have too much to drink) or tomorrow night before the Thrusday game if there is one. Get those lineups in!

Hey => I just sent-in my Final Week's line-up ... HOT! I took 3 dudes from the same team! (man, it's kinda tricky picking this week, with a bunch of teams already sitting players for the playoffs) ... Anyway => I'd like to thank all of you new NFL-friends for making the season quite a fun time! (coins rock!) Stevex-6-canuck

Sorry again for the delayed update but here are the scores in no paticular order
Coinsearcher83 - 95.72 Specksynder - 52.1 Murrellington - 48.66 googoo - 76.7 Nod2003 - 71.86 Jdavis18 - 77.72 Stevex6 - 71.48 Wrestling135 - 48.24 docsfishn - 103.32 Blueszone - 39.66 Chris Beatie - 82.2
So the highscore this week went to Docs(ice)fishn with 103.32. Doc's squad was led by Matt Stafford and the playoff bound Lions, no this isn't a typo, with 33 plus points, and was also helped by good games from Julio Jones and Darren Sproles on Monday night to guide him to his comeback win. Doc should also give Lance Moore some love since his injury in the second quarter put away any hopes Coinsearcher83 had of retaking his lead. The low score of the week was Stevex6 with 71.48. This means that googoo is the winner of the first annual CCF Suvivor Fantasy Football league and will win the Silver Eagle. Gutsy pick of the week has to go to googoo for picking Brent Celek. He won the title so enough said.
Ok this is the last week and when a get some more time tomorrow (I have the day off) I will post all the yearly point totals so you know where you stand for second prize. googoo you are out of the running for the second prize but can still win the weekly prize. Anyone that has won a prize should send me their address too so I can start mailing this out next week, I don't remember if you won anything coinsearcher83 but you should also send me your address. I owe you from the other NFL contest and was waiting to see if you won anything so I could mail it all at once. Thanks for being patient. Good luck to everyone this week.
