This is a great way to collect.
I'm 1952 and need countries like Yemen which are hard to find.
You can check numismaster.com and I believe that you can search world for your year.
I think that they will let you try it for 30 days for free and you could print the results.
Your own catalog/checklist for whatever year.

I am up to about 40 now. Was only buying proof / unc coins but I am now hitting up anything with a date visible! I have bought loads from e-bay and they are lying in my cupboard awaiting the 2x2 experience. Will attempt to be doing this tonight. Loving the Polish coins. Considering just collecting them ...just need the money

From my own year of birth ('52) I have 49 from 12,300+
From '68 have 144!
Obviously 1952 was a year of quality rather than quantity! Haha.

I think most US and Canada coins from 1952 were silver. By 1968, most had changed over to clad coins (1965 in the US, 1968 in Canada). Other countries probably changed around the same time. Most 1968 coins are worth less than their 1952 counterpart.
