He explained that he made an error on the invoice of the first one, accidentally sealed it with the Pitney Bowes label already affixed to the mailer. Instead of discarding the entire mailer as he intended to do, it got mixed in into the send pile. If you have many auctions closing on the same day, this is really easy to do; the doorbell/phone rings, the dog wants attention, etc., causing some distraction that breaks your train of thought/chain of action to a satisfactory conclusion. I didn't neg him at all, it was an honest mistake, heart-stopping as it was.

I understand your anxiety, but sometimes you just need to slow down and trust mankind,
the vast majority of people are straight shooters in my expierence.
