"I did the same special. My bakers dozen were received by ANACS on 10/17/2011, and shipped back (FedEx) 11/8/2011. There was a little note attached stating that since there were no discrepancies on my order form, it was expedited in a shorter turnaround time. Give them a hollar and see what the hold-up is. It may be all of the 25th Anniversary ASE sets." ARGGGGG!! And I don't see the "quote" button . . . .

Oh, and I sent an Email to ANACS customer service. If that doesn't work, I will make the phone call. Probably get Peggy . . . . . .

Customer Service got right back to me. Can't complain about Peggy ! Looks like I got another week or more.

Thank you for the submission. Our Fall Special is scheduled for Economy Service turnaround times, this usually runs between four and six weeks. However, because for the unexpected success of this promotion and the huge volume of coins coins we have received from it, turnaround times are slower than usual. Please check back with us later next week and I should have a better idea of when your coins will be ready.

Got 'em back. A bit disapointed, five of the ten came back in problem slabs. Three had been cleaned. Shoot, two of those three had been in my collection for forty years. Really, I thought those two were A-OK. I can't see it, they still look fine to me. Anyway, I had my suspicions about the other one, no big surprise. The grades were about one point lower than I had called, so I suppose I should be happy. There is one exception, I missed one of them way bad. I will post a photo when I get time, and see what you guys think. Jon

Cannot wait to see the pictures. My possible ship date was 12/01/11...and still "processing". I can imagine that it is the ASE 25th Anniversary deal they brokered that has slowed everything down. Looks like I have another couple weeks to wait.

TheNickelGuy QUOTE: Posted 10/30/2011 8:40 pm -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ...They probably won't attribute any varieties or mention strike details though. examples: 3 legged 1937 D Buffalo nickel. 1971 No S Proof Jefferson.YES! You can attribute the variety yourself, and ANACS only charges $5 to verify and annotate it on the slab (if verified), or for $10 they will look it up. I did that on my 3CN clashed die and 1954 S/D Jefferson.
