Well its worth at least $5 as face value, the coin book says $10.

Yes you did a good job for a first buy, the key is next time you have to aim for a cheaper price to really get a bargain.That's how you know that you're becoming coin savvy

will remember that, and think I found my niche in coins, parliament house. I have decided I will stick with the one theme instead of willy nilly.

Nice looking coin. It's good to have a theme. Willy nilly can be expensive.

I agree. Set yourself a zone. I have set my zone for one of all Australian Coins as my main collection. For my second collection I am going to collect one of each coin in circulation in my birthyear.
LOL

btw : I have the silver $10 version that I bought on a whim, will need to dig it out and post a photo. I think it is solid silver, could be wrong though...
