So I am thinking of asking for a rare US Banknote for Christmas, but I just dont know what to ask for. I would like to keep it under about 100.00 and I also want to Frame it. Suggestions?

<- just me, I have always liked large size bills. You can get large size bills not grade for under $100. Last year, for $90 I bought a large size "1899 $1 black eagle silver certificate" just because I liked the look of it. Me? I like the $2 notes so one of these. You can get them in a mid grade for under $100.  |

Well I asked my girlfriend today for either one of these for Christmas. I really like both so its a tough choice!

What should I try and offer to be fair for these. I really want one that I can frame and put in my room :) At a good B&M or a show I think that you can get a better example than those cited above for roughly $120 to $150. I paid $170 for my example but I'm glad that I held out for a nicer one. Also check out fractional currency there are some neat notes at prices that won't break the bank. |

The largest paper money only show in the US will be at Memphis in June. You should be able to find something there.
