Just called two coin shops that I deal with trying to sell some rolls of cents. One shop was paying Two Cents each for Wheaties and the other shop was paying two and a Half Cents each and selling them for four cents each. These prices are for 1940's and 1950's circulated. I have a bunch of Unc. rolls of the LP1,3,4 and neither shop wanted those ,looks like I have to go to Craigslist

Maybe ebay will give you a better price.

The problem on both sides of the equation is the tiny value of each unit. Shipping can kill the deal (before flat rate priority boxes, I bought a bag of IKEs for $1100, and it cost the seller $70 to ship them), or storage.
Rest in Peace

Regarding the original post, what do you expect to get for a product that retails for 4¢? I don't know what quantity you're talking about, but if the dealer has a standing order for all he can get, that's still only a $30 profit on 2000.
