One thing that seems to be a common is that we're so spread apart it's not funny..one side of the country to the other with a lot of land in between..what a shame :(

And apcgs, where's the mid north coast as that seems to be from kempsie/port to newie now days : )

And Trout1105, I feel for ya. At least I only have a 4 hour drive to brissie or less on a good run : )

Sydney. At least I have reasonable access to shows and dealers, all within an hour's travel on public transport.

There appear to be a few people in Sydney.
Is it worth trying to put on some sort of get-together?

To far for me to travel sorry. I'll go south to port or up to QLD. But I'd get a warm fuzzy if you could get a few of you together from my post : )

Ozcoins,
Count me in, I'll turn up. I'd like to meet other members of CCF.

Not sure if this would be of interest, but a friend of mine (who is not on CC) and I have been thinking about a trip to the mint in Canberra.
If we organise ourselves, I might let people here know so anyone interested can come along too.
Other than a "full day trip", how does meeting up at a library in a suitable suburb sound?
We could each bring along a few interesting (but NOT valuable) items to discuss.
If whoever is interested lets me know the area you are in, and I will try to arrange something central to whoever wants to come.
