Man, I have sorted through boxes and boxes of halves, along with countless CWR's and have only found 1 Franklin half. Congrats on your great finds!

Thanks guys for all your congrats! :D
I've been doing this for 2-3 months now and haven't had an actual score until now, I even started the whole skunk roll hunting with 10+ skunk trips, spending $100 on Halves every time right after my internship (I bought Brinks and String Rolls that were already opened LOL). Now that really discouraged me. There was a girl, a co intern of mine who rides the same bus as I did, and would ask have you even found anything... haha. Guess I'm feeling pretty blessed that I found so many Franklins, gotta thank god, really, my parents don't even support CRH until nao! :D

So after that long skunk streak back then in July, I had a dream one night that I opened a full roll of silvers. So, I asked my father if he could drive me to a local Bank of America for me to buy some halves. So, I bought $40 and it returned me 6 40%ers in rather old smelly rolls. So that was what drove my interest! Determination leads to success, well now I need to be more determined to attend my college classes hahaha.

Coin Roll Hunting on the bus is pretty efficient because there's nothing to do during the commute other than to sleep, read a book, textin'. I usually do nickels because of the low sound and pitch that it emits, (first time doing it which was several weeks ago got me a 1945D). I'm a college guy, so wasting some time on searching halves at home would be pretty not so great as I got a lot of work ahead of me every day.

Well, thanks for all your responses, guys, I wish all of you the best in your CRH aspirations and dreams. Just always try, regardless of surrounding influences to reach that goal! :D

Neat score. I've heard that with Christmas coming, people are cashing in halves again. I need to go get some boxes.

Awesome score!

I'm surprised that anyone finds CWR after my bank wouldn't even take my rerolled halves in the same S & S wraps and cardboard box after I searched them when I tried to deposit them at a different branch. After arguing with 2 tellers one of who said take them and one who said no I had to spend 20 minutes unrolling $1000 worth of halves so they could put them in the coin sorter. Next time I'm bringing a 5 gallon bucket and they can deal with it. At least the head teller at the branch I get my halves from is cool and asks how I did and what I found last week and tells me stories about the scores she found from customers in the past

upon opening the rolls while crossing the street, and waiting for the bus to come by

Texting while driving and roll searching while crossing the street will soon surpass the death toll previously set by drunk driving
